Bb small-molecule pheromone

It does not appear real clear what this small-molecule pheromone does,

but it is common to many many bacterial species and has some broad

effects on borrelial protein expression.

At this point the data on that appear to be mainly just raw

electrophoresis gels:

I dont see any reason to think ingestion of this pheromone by a human -

assuming it isnt toxic - would alter the immunoevasion or abx-

refraction of borrelia, but it is conceivable.
