Hello all,

This is from a patch-test on human volunteers of a cosmetic product

(insect repellent) for skin irritation and sensitizing potential.

cahier d'observation " .

I've found this on the web: " 2.

and

and

" The so-called ``soap effect'' or ``effet de savon'' consists of a

fine wrinkled surface contour associated or followed by chapping, the

latter representing a characteristic roughening of the skin. "

I can't find any true anglophones using the term " soap effect " though.

Cheers, Helen Genevier
