Guest guest
I am going to try it for a month, 300 mg twice a day in an inspiration nebulizer. Wellness Pharmacy makes it ph adjusted so it doesn't irritate your lungs, you just dump it in the nebulizer and inhale. there is NO PROOF it gets taken up systemically but one thinks maybe so, because asthma drugs certainly have systemic effects. Guest guest
Hi, Jill. I hope this really does you some good! I'll be interested to hear how it goes. I've been getting some real encouraging reports about glutathione from patients, and my subtle body (the one with flexible joints) has all it's toes and fingers crossed that you'll be helped by it, too. Rich, your posts on glutathione and related topics have been so darn lucid and helpful. I hope you'll keep sharing what you learn here. Guest guest
Thanx. I was reading all the clinical literature and I was sort of amazed about immune function--I'm sure as you were amazed, that neutrophils and other immune cells just kind of go kaput or get weak without gluathione, cannot fight off pathogens as well. THis is obviously a chicken-egg thing, as the infection itself probably depletes the glutathione and then, the cells function less well. It's also interesting to see the wide range of disorders helped from diabetes to parkinson's. I do believe nebulized will get into the system but how much I have no idea. Angie at Wellness was saying that the best way to measure IV vs nebulized would be a study drawing blood throughout the day! and looking at byproducts like reduced and oxidized (if I understood her correctly). Well its unlikely to be done. The cystic fibrosis patients are a bit confusing. It turns out they are a special case where extracellular glutathione is low but not intracellular. So nebulizng is ideal for them. But then, their digestion improves. Is that a cascade effect from lungs working better, or is it absorption? Who knows! But I figure as I said, I know inhaled steroids in asthamtic kids leads to side effects that are measurable, so I don't see why some wouldn't get intracellular. It seems to me IV once a week ain't enough and I am not able to get to my doc's more than once a week. > > I am going to try it for a month, 300 mg twice a day in an > inspiration > > nebulizer. Guest guest
, its not cheap but its certainly cheaper than doing IV every day! I don't know about the liposomal, it might be a little cheaper. Once you buy the nebulizer, which is $65 and wellness sells it, then you pay the cost of the glutathione monthly which with shipping is around $300. As I said, its not cheap. But this lymie I know who's had a hbo chamber for a while now, and does like it enough to have shipped it from her mountian home in colorado to Corning NY this summer where her husband had to be for the summer, she says the glutathione nebulized is the best thing she's done so far. Now, she might be unique. Who knows. But since she has a chamber, ie does hyperbaric oxygen like me, I found that really intriguing. > > > I am going to try it for a month, 300 mg twice a day in an > > inspiration > > > nebulizer.
