Guest guest
Unless there was some change in names, I believe that was Ron Ball who hired the experts. Roy, you've told us repeatedly that you hired 'experts' to tell you whether the MP made sense. We tend to employ ourselves in that capacity here. And to value people like Ken who invest some real intellectual energy in that enterprise. You don't want to participate in that kind of thing, Roy, (and by now it's fairly obvious that you don't), that's just fine. Maybe you can find a nice spelling bee. Thanks,> > > > There is an ongoing discussion of vitamin D > > > > on the group. Guest guest
Speaking of which, I thought the list would enjoy this poem: Heretic Heart By Madsen I am a bold and a Pagan soul, A-ramblin' through this land, I judge the world by my own lights, And I come by my own hand, And if you ask me where I learned, To live so recklessly My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart, Are my authority. My mother was a singer of tales, My father a dreaming man, And I have swung from the dragon's tongue And danced on Holy Land, I've sung the seed up out of the ground, And the bird down from the tree My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart Are my authority. I once was found but now I'm gone, Away from the " Faithful Fold " , Of those who preach that holiness, Is to do as you are told, Though law and scripture, priest and prayer, Have all instructed me My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart Are my authority. Now they tell me Jesus loves me, But I think that he loves in vain, He must go unrequited, On me he has no claim, For the man who would command me must wear the horn and let me be. My Goddess is the Lady Moon, Whose tides run deep in me My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart Are my authority. And while I breathe this glorious air, An outlaw I'll remain, My body will not be subdued, And I will not be " saved, " And if I cannot shout it loud, I'll sing it secretly My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart Are my authority. > > > > > There is an ongoing discussion of vitamin D > > > > > on the group. Guest guest
Hi Roy. I would just like to state that in no way does Ken suffer any longer from CFIDS. He attends our local support group meetings (because two members of his family are not quite well yet) and he is FULL of ENERGY, both physically and mentally. He is an incredibly honorable man, and is just trying to find the remaining pieces of the puzzle that will help his family (and through this board, others) get well. If you'll read his posts carefully, he has never suggested that vitamin D is a " panacea " . Rather he has brought up the fact that SOME of us may be low in " d " , and if so, by supplementing it, it may just be ONE of those puzzle pieces needed to strengthen the immune system, which in the end, is the real key to recovering and remaining well -- something Ken has managed to do for over 5 years now. Respectfully, Dan " Schaafsma " <compucruz@y...> wrote: > Roy, you've told us repeatedly that you hired 'experts' to tell you > whether the MP made sense. Guest guest
Dan, Thanks for posting this about Ken. I expressed my appreciation for his efforts privately to him quite some time ago. I still feel the same, but writing anything else might be misinterpreted by some and be counterproductive. Roy > Hi Roy. Guest guest
Thank you. It wasn't me, and I have written only about vitamin D.
