Guest guest
> I agree with the final sentence above, but the rest, I'm afraid, sounds fine > but is just totally unrealistic. *Perhaps I expressed myself badly. What I was talking about is the attitude behind one's giving. If one gives with the attitude of being 'in a position to help the great unwashed', what they actually get - aside from your few measly pence - is a faceful of your arrogance. And they will tend to resent that terribly. The rest may 'sound fine'. I've lived by it for past forty-odd years and am still here (and very nicely, thank you) to tell the tale. So are most of those I've stopped to help. And I find I haven't had to move too many of them into my place (or out of it) either. Must be a different species of 'realistic'. m
Guest guest
I am so sorry! I been in a very familiar scenario.... I resorted to sleeping outside in the back seat of my car last night (it was cold and uncomfortable, i'm a really tall person).... I was/am stuck in a hotel room with an obnoxiosuly loud snorer and a thumb sucker/teeth grinder. Getting my own room is not an option. I played my IPOD really loud last night but it did not help..... __________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
