Guest guest
Hi, Tony. Glutathione normally does a lot of important things in the body. Detoxing toxins and assisting the immune system, particularly to fight viruses and intracellular bacteria, are two of the big ones. If you want to find out more about this, look at page 3 of my poster paper, which can be found at this website: http://www.cfsresearch.org/cfs/research/treatment/15.htm Rich > Juts curious as to what this glutathione is supposed to do. Guest guest
Thanks rich I printed it out and will read it later. It did touch on a topic of the muscle biopsy. I believe that the toxins are like battery acid and they tend to sort of melt the muscle fibres and the circulation in general(veins). I also think this is the part that needs serious HIGH PRESSURE therapy like chaemo almost, can you see the glutathione fixing this? I actually started to try potassium and it seems to help, apparently it fixes damaged cell membranes. I did notice improvement, though I did test low in it. Again thanks rich, I notice you really are very helpfull to everyone on this topic. tony > > Juts curious as to what this glutathione is supposed to do. Guest guest
Tony, glutathione assists every cell. Low glutathione: immune cells don't kill pathogens as well; you can improve diabetes, arterial function, parkinson's, almost everything, by increasing glutathione. > > > Juts curious as to what this glutathione is supposed to do. Guest guest
Hi, Tony. I think that glutathione depletion allows the rise of peroxynitrite to occur in the muscle cells, and that's what puts the monkey wrench into their Krebs cycles and produces the weakness and physical fatigue in CFS. When people with CFS overdo it with the exercise, I think that the oxidizing free radicals that are produced by the more rapid metabolism during the exercise attack the cell membranes, because there isn't enough glutathione to take care of them, and the resulting damage and the time it takes to repair it is what makes the muscles hurt for some days afterward. Guest guest
Jill I know it can assist healing, but an infection that's not targeted by the immune system isn't going to go down to glutathione. I believe that it can be a huge benfit to getting the body up and running- my mission was to judge how much.I actually found potassium that I alway's showed low in has been a positive. Just trying to put the finger on all the protocols and which ones combine best to get someone well quick. tony > > > > Juts curious as to what this glutathione is supposed to do. Guest guest
i must admit i have not tried my nebulized protocol regularly yet so can't give you a case report but when i do i will. when one looks at the literature it looks as important as major minerals like magnesium potassim and calcium. getting it into the cells is not easy. i don't think the precursors are that great though everybody says they are. it dpeends on your individual genetics whether you will go through the steps to make the precursors inot glutathione. i prefer IV, and we'll see if nebulizd works. i agree, it's not a pathogen killer, its just, if its low your own body is less effective. no antibioitc sterilizes anybody so you need your immune system to be working. are you going to look at milfetosine or whatever that drug was? i have to have somebody test it on regular bacteria and i wish they could see if it worked on borrelia. > > > > > Juts curious as to what this glutathione is supposed to do. > I > > > > gathered > > > > > that it's like a detox of the body mainly liver, in my > limited > > > > reading > > > > > on the topic. > > > > > I tend to get excited by anti inflammatories and anti > > > > infectives.Don't > > > > > learn much about these DETOX " S?
