Hi Mandi,

Has your BIL looked at amygdala retraining?

http://www.cfsrecovery.com/

The amygdala is also mentioned in the paper Sharon posted

http://www.nature.com/npp/journal/v33/n4/abs/1301453a.html

Anyway, the programme is aimed at ME/CFS cos this is what the guy who

came up with the programme had. I've a copy of the programme (it's

got a money back guarantee so couldn't resist) and I think it might

work really well with PST and the bit you mention of fearing not

having the fears. It seems most of the adults with ME that are trying

it are getting some benefit, and from what they are posting they

started with anxiety and fear as a significant part of their

condition, (though not the cause of it).

I've just signed up for the basic course. Is that what you've used? A big thing with me is that I become overly happy-excited and can't switch it off. Sounds fun, but it's draining and unbalancing. Let's see if the EFT helps.

>>You can download the basics from the emofree site, read it and do it, simple as that! I ordered the DVD's recently so I had something 'official' to give my BIL, they have a section on PTSD with vietnam vets, many who have been in residential therapy since 1978(!) getting better in 2 days of EFT treatments, total less than an hour. The discs come with permission to copy x 100 times and give away. However, they seem to be dual layer discs which I need to buy to get copying.

So far only had time to watch the first one but I can do it now without looking at the acu points which makes thing a whole lot easier. I send you some sheets that make it easier when you start off list. I like that's a free, quick, totally risk free and think everybody should have a go! The key is in getting the opening statement right rather than accuracy of the tapping.

Need to watch the surrogate tapping ones next so I can do something for Sam but mega busy and need time to concentrate on that one. I did tap Sam after I replied to you the other day but I am not sure I can wrap my head around feeling whats its like to be non verbal, he thought I was mad doing it but was super clam afterwards.............hmmmmmmmm

Wow Mandi, the EFT sounds impressive. Hope it works for your BIL.

took a 3 day weekend course in this last year - helped with

headaches. didnt get the tapping " for my son " though, - i dont

understand how my tapping can affect him as its about tapping

meridians and if i dont touch his meridian, what benefit is he going

to get, except maybe good thoughts and i can do that without tapping.-
