There is an ongoing discussion of vitamin D

on the group. IMO, it

lacks balance and is giving some people the

impression that high vitamin D intake is a

completely safe panacea.

I have added up the vitamin D that I was

largely unaware of taking prior to my last

relapse, which was the worst I've ever had.

There was a minimum of 2600 IU daily.

After reading about it extensively and

talking with healthy professionals in

relevant fields, I now believe it probably

caused the relapse even though it seemed to

be the best remission in many years.

If anybody has the time to add to the

discussion there, I would appreciate it.

I am not able to now.

Thanks,

Roy

What was your 25D levels?

" healthy professionals in relevant fields " and not " health

professionals " sounds like a reference to a PhD in electrical

engineering.

Some sound medical citations showing how it caused it would help --

Ken,

I responded to your even less respectful

reply on your group message # 3862.

With the following:

>I think you are sincere, but frankly,

you are showing more symptoms in your posts.

The cognitive symptoms are obvious in

spelling and grammatical mistakes alone.

You can dismiss it as just my opinion if

you choose.

I choose not to argue, and I am out of here.

It is not pleasant to see, and there are

other things I need to do. My health is

improving, and among other personal things,

I want to continue to do what I can to try

to help others.<

I am not a medical professional, nor do I

want to be. I also try not to pretend to be.

My abilities and experience are in other

fields that are relatively rare. Someone

else was suspicious of me last year. She

got a reference from one person who knows

me, and I got an immediate and humble apology.

You don't know me and you have no have no

knowledge of my background. I am VERY serious

about working to conquer this illness.

I think a little respect and benefit of the

doubt would be in order.

Excuse me but " spelling and grammatical mistakes " are not symptoms of

CFIDS -- I was not born in the US.
