Inaccurate tests are scary

I went to get a quest (hmo) babesia test, assuming it would be

negative and I'll have to do a fish igenex. And I know enough stories

of people having serial pcr's and only getting a positive babesia on

the 3rd or 4th. And I don't feel like paying $600-1000 just to SEE if

I really have babesia...but then again wonder what if that's the

hidden key to my problems?

Anyway he ran a lyme test too. And so did a holistic doc about 3 years

ago. And you know what's scary? I " m totally negative on quest.

If I hadn't had a documented bullseye 5 years ago, sky high elisa

antibodies and positive western blot on stonybrook twice, I could be

in as much trouble as so many around the country who get quest tests

and think it isn't lyme.
