Guest guest
Carma, I've been trying to use SLS free shampoo for several months now- I say trying because my hair never really seems clean- peppermint castile soap leaves a defnite stickiness to my hair, almost as if I used conditioner. I have also tried an Aubrey shampoo that was designed for oily hair- with similiar results. I've tried rinsing it longer, using less, using more, etc. The water here in Memphis is pretty normal- not extremely soft or hard- so I don't understand why I can't rinse it clean. I never use conditioner b/c if I do my hair will be dirty just a day later- I only shampoo b/c then I only have to wash hair once or twice a week. I have very long straight hair, very oily scalp, very fine textured. I have tried rinsing with regular vinegar to no avail- I will try the ACV. Also, do you have a SLS free shampoo that you could recommend? Also, how do you apply the ACV without getting it in your eyes? I found the only way to do a vinegar and water rinse was to lie down and put my head in a dishpan- not the most comfortable or convenient way to do it. Maybe the ACV is more mild and doesn't sting like heck if you get it in your eyes?? Love in Christ, Alison __________________________________________________
