Guest guest
Thanks, Penny. I know that many of the antibiotics in use today were developed because a lot of people can't take penicillin. Tetracycline comes to mind immediately. I've taken a lot of other antibiotics, and I have followed the discussions about the different antibiotics on this list with interest. I have taken cipro, but only for short lengths of time, with no problems. I have taken zithromax with no apparent problems. I took minocycline, and I can tolerate the larger doses but not the smaller, but it did appear to do longterm damage rather than help (pulsing doses). So I suppose there really is no perfect antibiotic (or magic bullet for that matter). But we can dream, can't we? Wishing all the best, Re: Nelly & Penny re: C.
