Guest guest
No, the hydro-flossing I have no problem with. I've been doing bleach in the mouth and am happy with that. I'm talking about hydro-pulsing, where you're shooting water through your sinuses, along with whatever antimicrobial agent you can tolerate. I've done silver, xylitol, etc. It's just that after a while, I start feeling like I'm walking around with that feeling after you've been swimming too long, and it feels like you've got water stuck in your head. You know what I mean? And my worry with that is the pseudomonas, which loves wet conditions. Also, I'd REALLY like to try a tiny amount of bleach in the hydropulse (similar to pool water) but I don't know how much I could take before burning the tissue out. I might try a drop or two, and work my way up, but again, I'm concerned about the whole keeping my sinsuses wet. Maybe killing the staph, would cause the pseudomonas to diminish, since it's opportunistic. Also, I'm wondering if I may have actino in my jaw, which is also hard to culture. I started a new mouth amx wash which is blue, and oddly, when I spit, I end up with what appears to be a green algae looking pond scum in the sink. I was shocked. As you know, in the past, I could never spit out any pus, but apparently now I can, because without the blue mouthwash, I'm spitting out yellow. Sorry for the graphix, but I think you know what I " m getting at. Apparently actinomyces is also yellow, and salty, and VERY hard to get rid of. penny > > Tony, > > > > My concern with nebulizing, and also with hydropulsing, is whether > > it's bad to be putting that much moisture up your nose. Guest guest
Penny Alot of the stuff your attacking is only the surface one tenth of the infection. So all the adverse effects from scratching around the surface are sort of not surprising. As your aware the really well diagnosed cases have some serious head rot. There seems to be that oppurtunistic aspect of pseudonomads which I'm sure wouldn't be a huge pain if some of the other organisms are knocked out.The key is to remove bugs and regenerate the area back to something resemblibg normal bone and tissue.I feel my infection being generated higher up in the head as time goes by. But again I suppose the key would be to determine you can keep therapy up to the point of constant improvement. There's also the need for better oxygenation (aka sleep apnea), this sleep cycle of supporting your lungs can be as important if not more important than antimicrobial therapy. So the keys would be- high salt intake great drugs -especially choices sleep apnea support- rather than hyperbarics. This is I suppose a generalisiation of what I feel needs doing.I'm very disappointed in some of the drugs choices and long term therapies that have possably netted very little for the sufferers.I feel we are very well educated on therapies like the tetracyclines and adding a penicillin like drug see's far more success than mono therapy. This is something we have observed over the years. Barb's therapeutic attempts can't be taken as comfortably for people with spleens because often in serious septic infections the spleen is the first organ to go.So what fits Barb doesn't go across the board so easily. Just a few cheap observations, my ten cents worth. > > > Tony, > > > > > > My concern with nebulizing, and also with hydropulsing, is > whether > > > it's bad to be putting that much moisture up your nose. > Especially > > > if you've got a pseudomonas which loves moisture and is very > > > difficult to kill, even under non-moist conditions.
