Guest guest
Lanelle I would love to see you on triple IV antibiotics rather than IVIG. I know people love the immune system functioning and kicking in but when a quarter of your body weight is swimming in bacteria(not true, just highlighting) that IVIG is very questionable. The saline in many IV drips fools us sometinmes in thinking what we are being given is great. Increasing blood volume by a litre is more beneficial than most treatmnents. I guarantee you that a biopsy in the middle of your leg bone will tell you why you need to take the correct infectious treatment as your best option.I don't really like to sway you away from IVIG but running full red cell counts and carrying oxyegn and nutrition to every part of the anatomy for me was that one succesfull week on vanco. and correct antimicrobial therapy. Trying to supplemnent was never on the cards I can't get involved in supplementuinmg or bandaid measures. I do beleive antimicrobial therapy can fail easily but when done right it's something that keeps chiselling your infection out of your bones. Some fortunate souls recover very nicely with simple anitmicrobial therapy which is also observed in a few forums. tony > > Evening everyone.....I wanted to let those know who have replied to > my messages, that I will also answer....but I must ask for a bit more > time.
