Guest guest
I dont think I had it... naw, maybe I did... anyways I treated for it... Had a negative IGeneX microti FiSH and an equivocal microti WB... Dont know if the FiSH can pick up other Babesia spp X-reactively, so I am glad I had the WB, tho actually I dont know if that would x-react with other Babesia spp either. With WA-1 and MO-1 cropping up as they have, I feel you do have to be concerned with the possiblity not only of those, but of undescribed taxa. It dont have to be in pubmed to eat you. I guess the same could be true of Borrelia spp. > Thanx I'll look that over > has sent me some info that gives me some concern but not over > riding. > Pam says malarone was very useful for her and Liegner and Horowitz > will give it in low doses in some cases and that even can work. > > I have some research ahead of me, but first the tests. Guest guest
North American is generally b. microti and European is generally b. divergens - yes they are different strains. And from patient reports they seem to be equally hard to treat.
