Guest guest
You said it , in a nutshell ...Take a look at this site for more . .http://helios.bto.ed.ac.uk/bto/microbes/fungalwe.htm scroll down on the home page there is a list of differences between bacteria etc; & fungi ... Also take a look at these sites ..They spell out the properties of Nysatin ..It just doesn't have any antibacterial properties ..Sorry Tony ..But we must keep to proven facts .. Quote "Nysatin is a fungistatic and fungicidal antibiotic but has no antibacterial properties. It is effective against a wide range of fungi and yeasts. It is not absorbed through the skin or mucous membranes when applied topically". http://www.rxmed.com/b.main/b2.pharmaceutical/b2.1.monographs/CPS-%20Monographs/CPS-%20(General%20Monographs-%20F)/FLAGYSTATIN.html http://home.intekom.com/pharm/lennon/nystcd-o.html -----Original Message-----From: infections [mailto:infections ]On Behalf Of HodologicaSent: 17 June 2005 20:30infections Subject: [infections] Re: fungiYeah, you aint goin to see a bacterium turn into a yeast. Not allowed. You can definitely see a bacterium take on endless forms, branched mycelioid forms, very large forms, whatever. What s saying is the very basis of biology. We can sequence the DNA of bacteria and of yeast and they are very different. That DNA cannot change more than a very small amount. We can also look at the proteins that come from the DNA.Fungi are very well charecterized and there is absolutely no doubt that they are a separate and valid group of organisms. Any electron microscope can show you that they are eukaryotes, much more like us than they are like bacteria. Theyre virtually our cousins. THey have all kinds of fancy membrane-bound organelles visible with an electron microscope, which bacteria never ever have.> > > Hello everyone> > >> > > I am new to the group and suffer from chronic inflammation in> the> > nasal passages and polyps.> > > I am also sensitive to aspirin and Nsaids and have chemical> > sensitivity.> > > I have symptoms associated with candida: IBS,Joint pain, thrush,> > cystitis(neg cultures),> > > very dry skin, blind spots, reflux with oesophagitis and> obviously> > chronic sinusitis, rhinitis,> > > post nasal drip ,asthma etc...> > > I am treated with nexium 20 mg for the reflux and I haved> stopped> > the nasal corticosteroids.> > > (I am assuming cortisone /corticosteroids are a quick fix but> with> > suspected fungal problems> > > in the sinuses I dont see how it can make it better long term> In> > fact overall I am getting worse> > > with them)> > >> > > Basically my question is I have started 50 mg flucanozole and> anti-> > fungal hoping it would clear> > > the sinuses and restrictive sugar diet.I sometimes use silver> > colloidal and that stops the rhinitis.> > > Has anyone been successful with this therapy for sinus> problems> > and can you recommend> > > anything else? Guest guest
It's stupid to quote someone that puts a drug in the middle of a culture plate and watches for bacterial inhabition and tells 50% of people that they re sensitive or resistant and actually has someone swera that's the best they felt for the last ten years and even got back there sex drive which is completely unheard of in this person. Chasing her husband down was not something she could recall. And you went the literature to tell me a streptomycin based drug which is what many many antibacterial agents stem from is not doing anything to bacteria when I couldn't understand why I felt so well until i proved it took out my blood borne bacteria. Keep finding the literature-BUT PLEASE TELL US WHAT YOU THINK 1 BILLION PEOPLE ON THE PLANET HAVE AFFLICTIONS FROM. This same literature has the all in your head diagnosis assigned to them. I mean this drug inhibits pseudomnomads which most antibiotics don't touch. So please learn to read and resppect what your reading with a different agenda.I would go to the libraray and learn what bugs would be recovered from what area's when your ill you like to know what is taking out your hip, left knee, or whatever, I was more interested in reading what bug was recovered from what region. The literature NEVER EVER EVER MENTIONS staphylococcus epidermis was recovered in any site yet all our friends that have biopsies and cultures never ever fail to retrieve this. What is wrong with the literature???????????????????????BASICALLY THAT'S HOW USELESS IT IS.BACTERIA THAT ARE IGNORED AS CONTAMINANTS IN EVERY BIOPSY AND BLOOD CULTURE.YET THERE'S 1 BILLION AFFLICTED HUMANS WITH NO ANSWERS. tHAT'S WHAT I THINK OF THE LITERATURE-USELESS OFTEN-DON'T HANG YOUR HAT ON IT.READ IT, BUT GIVE IT THE RESPECT IT DESERVES --- SOMETHING'S MISSING!!!! > > > > Hello everyone > > > > > > > > I am new to the group and suffer from chronic inflammation > in > > the > > > nasal passages and polyps. > > > > I am also sensitive to aspirin and Nsaids and have chemical > > > sensitivity. > > > > I have symptoms associated with candida: IBS,Joint > pain, thrush, > > > cystitis(neg cultures), > > > > very dry skin, blind spots, reflux with oesophagitis and > > obviously > > > chronic sinusitis, rhinitis, > > > > post nasal drip ,asthma etc... > > > > I am treated with nexium 20 mg for the reflux and I haved > > stopped > > > the nasal corticosteroids. > > > > (I am assuming cortisone /corticosteroids are a quick fix > but > > with > > > suspected fungal problems > > > > in the sinuses I dont see how it can make it better long > term > > In > > > fact overall I am getting worse > > > > with them) > > > > > > > > Basically my question is I have started 50 mg flucanozole > and > > anti- > > > fungal hoping it would clear > > > > the sinuses and restrictive sugar diet.I sometimes use > silver > > > colloidal and that stops the rhinitis. > > > > Has anyone been successful with this therapy for sinus > > problems > > > and can you recommend > > > > anything else?
