Guest guest
Greetings group, I wonder if anyone can help me, or offer any suggestions. In November '99 I developed severe neck and shoulder pain. Before this, apart from migraines, I was too healthy for words. I progressively deteriorated into all the usual CFS symptoms, and all the standard basic tests revealed nothing apart from a low NK cell count. I slid downhill until just short of bedbound in 2003. I started 2004 by self treating with Famvir and Doxycycline. By mid 2004 I was improving. I switched from Doxy to Minocycline mid-year, and after an initial wild ride, further improved, my energy returned, but the little progressive exercise I was doing exacerbated the FM side of CFS. In fact, you could say I converted from CFS to FM. A unique symptom I had which was always there (from '99) was sores, lumps, and tiny stinging lesions on my head, which always accompanied a migraine headache. They would also appear anywhere on my body. I can actually induce them by rotating my arm for 15 minutes, and after an aura of tingling, then stinging sensations, the sores etc. appear under my shoulder blades. Any friction with the skin in the subject area dramatically increases redness, lumps, lesions and inflammation. The new lack of fatigue enables me to " dog paddle " swim for 10 minutes, but I then have to endure my entire back and spine breaking out, with large sores over specific vertibrae. About a month ago, migraines became a daily event (fixed with Zomig), along with the sores etc. I'm now running out of unscabbed space on my head. Any and all advice and suggestions would be thankfully received. Thanks, .
