Guest guest
thanks for that input jonathon , I did wonder just how useful it could be covering 30,000 herbs.the small preview that is availible on the web site lists pages and pages and pages of common names of the most obscure plants( I gave up after the b's !!) for those that would like to access the web site its : www.herbage.info and if any one finds any more about it it would be interesting to know what you think. regards , Annette

Guest guest
How do you get it? Which website can be viewed. I´ll definately check it out! Loads of new mnames of herbs pop up every day and it would be good with some sort of reference even if the data was not 100% it might lead you in some kind of direction of where to look. Guest guest
Never looked at it but from a quick peek it seems to sacrifice depth for breadth, and focus on a lot of ethnobotanical info which is not necessarily relevant or useful. The author is an ethnobotanist, not herbal practitioner. The price has dropped significantly since it was released at over 145 USD, now its 48 USD. jt > hello all > has any one come across a cd rom by a chap called tim johnson based in > santa cruz called " herbage " .apparently it is the 4 th edition and is > a database covering over 30,000 herbs ( rather more than in the > average dispensary ! ) > jonathon t - have you come across it or reviewed it at all?
