Last summer I was at the beach. I was very sick. My disease is in my sinuses, face, etc. I can even see tiny round bumps on my forehead and nose if I strain focus in the mirror in the right light. I sat on the beach for a long time, not going into the water. I will never forget this, when I finally decided to go in, a wave hit me and got my face wet. My face BURNED with pain! Could the salt have been killing bacteria? I grew up on the Texas gulf coast, and this had never happened before. > > > > INteresting. Guest guest
It doesn't kill everything I think Penny got that a little wrong. The ocean is a great source of oxygen and salt off course and all aged and chronically ill -can testify to feeling better. Actually the dead sea which is the highest in salt content is known for it's therapeutic effects.Whenever I swallow heaps of salt it does tend to burn when it comes into contact with certain area's where bugs are festering.I feel my thymus gland would really burn with high doses of salt. tony -- In infections , " drgaftop " <drgaftop@y...> wrote: > Penny wrote, > " ...Tony loves salt. Guest guest
Also the dead sea is below sea level, thus more psi, thus more 02 into the tissues. Also pressure exerts beneficial effects on the CNS and on macrophages and alters cytokine profiles. No wonder dead sea has healing reputation: sun, 02, salt and pressure. Tony...I have researched and googled and I cannot find anything about why the combo of nacl and ascorbic acid would be synergistic. LOL I just spilled the last 1/10th of today's brine out of my plastic cup on my leg and it is stinging. > > > > > > INteresting. Guest guest
Well, I was wrong, it kills 50% according to Tony. :-) My Tibetan Lama friend says the best thing for your sinuses is snorting salt water, but " of course " , he says, " it really hurts " . penny > Penny wrote, > " ...Tony loves salt.
