Guest guest
, what do you mean " aspirin sensititivity " . I developed sensitivity to all aspirin related products as well. Severe gut pain, which is unfortunate, because I used ibuprofen to manage my headaches. I think the fungal ball is very interesting. I have no idea how to treat it, perhaps does. Here's a good link that was posted previously. http://www.sinuses.com/toc.htm penny <christinealexandrou@y...> wrote: > >then I got polyps and aspirin sensitivity
Guest guest
Penny If I take aspirin or nsaids 15 minutes later I have the following very itchy throat, wild rhinitis, flushing ,blocked painful ears, cough and wheezing. People with nasal polyps and asthma shouldnt take them anyway, perhaps I developed the sensitivity whilst I had the polyps not before. About the fungus ball it depends what mucocele stands for because they havent told me exactly.4 yrs ago my ent told me that the fungus theory was put aside and is not relevant, Last year the same one said to me: oh its fungal but you can t take antifungals forever.I guess they haven t got a clue. Guest guest
Misdiagnosis of our infections is pretty well universal I would think ...not many doctors say they don't know , If they do they invite the question what next/ they give a Mickey mouse catch all diagnosis, such as irritable bowel syndrome ,chronic fatigue syndrome ,allergic reaction to something or best of all... it's all in your mind , try and calm down a little ...The white mucus rings a bell , it was the same with me ..I don't think it is the actualfugi/yeast but the result of the strange allergic type reaction of the immune system...We are half way there in the response ..but the WBC fail to rally.. fail to engage the invader ..Green mucus is an indication that the IS is working ..the colour being dead WBC's the cells having done their job die it's actually pus...white mucus = no dead WBC's In my opinion you need prescription drugs and plenty of em long term to beat fungi , [plus low sugar diet] if you have a duel infection look to drugs that are effective against both ... -----Original Message-----From: infections [mailto:infections ]On Behalf Of christine alexandrouSent: 17 June 2005 09:41infections Subject: Re: [infections] Re: - p.s. & Fungi Guys I first had symtoms of non allergic rhinitis for 2 years then I got polyps and aspirin sensitivity after a bad virus and I must have had a very bad bacterial infection then. that mucked up my sinuses. Could the symptoms of non -allergic rhinitis be misdiagnosed as a fungus proplem? I am assuming Samters triad inflammation among others inflammatory mediums is with high eosinophilia and eosinophilic toxic protein and starts of as non allergic rhinitis with eosinophilia in most cases. No doubt sometimes I feel a full blown acute bacterial infection specially in winters and that unfortunately requires antibiotics (I have read that there is a correlation candida leads to staph infection etc.) The main reason now I suspect fungus or at least a fungus ball (my xray show a mucocele right hand side maxillary) is that when I blow my nose the wonderous stuff is very white in colour.I am also worse after eating cakes biscuits etc anything sweet I do not have access to good clinics here for swabs etc so I am wondering if I could battle the stuff out independently with medication /no sugar diet/probiotics & anything else that pops in mind. Guest guest
Dear I have browsed through your site but havent read it in detail yet. I know there are reputable allergy specialists like Dr Mansfield in Surrey who aknowlegde candida as one of the pr of chemical sensitivity. What lab test do you suggest.I may be able to get to the clinic in London I think its Biolab but I need referral for a candida test. Its just if I am to take over 50 mg flucanozole I would rather see tangible proof that its for the right treatment. Also I understand nyastin is not absorbed in the blood stream so how does it clear the sinuses( unless the problem is mainly in the bowel/stomach and that causes allergies and chronic sinus inflammation) I score rather high on most written tests for candida because also of other symtoms like joint pain, ibs etc... I have reviewed the ingredients in kombucha a green tea made of fermented seaweed,It apparently has yeast and bacterial cultures perhaps I will try to take a little next week and see what happens I didnt mean to create a 'war' on the site ,I hope you re not offended by anyone thanks Jaep <Jaep@...> wrote: Misdiagnosis of our infections is pretty well universal I would think ...not many doctors say they don't know , If they do they invite the question what next/ they give a Mickey mouse catch all diagnosis, such as irritable bowel syndrome ,chronic fatigue syndrome ,allergic reaction to something or best of all... it's all in your mind , try and calm down a little ...The white mucus rings a bell , it was the same with me ..I don't think it is the actualfugi/yeast but the result of the strange allergic type reaction of the immune system...We are half way there in the response ..but the WBC fail to rally.. fail to engage the invader ..Green mucus is an indication that the IS is working ..the colour being dead WBC's the cells having done their job die it's actually pus...white mucus = no dead WBC's In my opinion you need prescription drugs and plenty of em long term to beat fungi , [plus low sugar diet] if you have a duel infection look to drugs that are effective against both ...
