Guest guest
I have not been able to get your words from my thoughts, not that I really want to anyway. Yes, I've decided I want your words to mingle with my own. I don't have any wise or pround words of wisdom for you, it is you who has affect me to the point of speechless. At first I felt the tears on my cheek and then suddenly, simultaneously I was applauding wildly for the courage and power that resonated from your spirit. It probably sounds silly to say that I'm honored to have known you, you might want to reserve judgement for having known me. That is reality speaking because I must ask myself some pretty hard questions of late. But back to my purpose here. To say how much I appreciate your knowledge, your strength and the gift of hope that you are always giving away. I heard somewhere that the people who are survivors are those who understand and practice " perseverance " . That is what I see in you. Step by step as you lost pieces of your world as you knew it, you may have mourned it, but not for long. You seem to be one who accepts life's curve balls, then re-evaluates the circumstances to take up a new position and moves forward. Always moving forward. Perseverance, yes Barb...... and pride. That is important key for it is pride that shows the world our moral standards. And it was your medical standard that said , " I will live, despite you, to spite you, no mater whoeverhas to do the healing. " You refused to give your " power to live " away..... to anyone, or someone who didn't even care. I wish the world understood your perseverance and they would know how to love and appreciate life.
