Guest guest
I saw on lymenet you might choose riamet which is available here if you'd had it then. it apparently works by preventing malaria parasites from protecting themselves against heme, which they make when they parasitize the red blood cell and cleave hemoglobin does babesia also make heme as malaria, and also protects itself, and would be prevented in the same way? Guest guest
If your asking my opinion about whether the drugs for Malaria PREVENTION would also prevent Babesia from being tramsmitted, I'd say - probably. Recently on Lymenet, I posted the ARTEMOS drug sheet and mode of action - the post is about 3 days old http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/034810.html Should get you there. Guest guest
Thanx I'll look that over has sent me some info that gives me some concern but not over riding. Pam says malarone was very useful for her and Liegner and Horowitz will give it in low doses in some cases and that even can work. I have some research ahead of me, but first the tests. Even then, I won't assume the tests are accurate. It's just that the area where I was bit turns out to be as epidemic for babs as lyme. I did NOT know that. I don't read every single study that comes out, but she did because of her book. > > I saw on lymenet you might choose riamet which is available here if > > you'd had it then. > > > > it apparently works by preventing malaria parasites from protecting > > themselves against heme, which they make when they parasitize the red > > blood cell and cleave hemoglobin > > > > does babesia also make heme as malaria, and also protects itself, and > > would be prevented in the same way?
