Guest guest
Benicar does not increase perfusion, never heard it claimed that it does. Potentiate is used often but it is a complete misuse of the word. Benicar does not potentiate anything. The theory (irregardless of whether it is right or wrong, and with no studies to back it up) is that it makes the L-form bacteria more susceptable to both Abx and the IS. This is done by blocking the bacteria's AT1 receptor, and thereby its ability to bind Ang2 and create proteins to hide its chemical profile from the IS. This allows more bacteria to be killed with lower doses of Abx. I have no interest in discussing whether this is correct or not. I am just pointing out that the Benicar theory has nothing to due with perfusion and only potentiates in a bass ackward manner.
