Guest guest
I'll throw this FWIW: I had clicking knees for years, especially noticeable when going up and down stairs. I felt fortunate that I had no pain, just some occasional discomfort, so I just " lived with it " . Last fall, for other reasons, I started using " systemic " enzymes. In this case it was Vitalzyme, though there are other good brands as well. These are not the same as digestive enzymes that one takes with food, but are to be used on an empty stomach so that the enzymes can heal other areas of the body. It dawned on me after a few months that I no longer had that annoying clicking in my knees, and absolutely no discomfort whatsoever. What did they heal? I have no idea! Guest guest
I have had the same results with Vitalzym. You could hear my knees all over the library when I walked down the steps. I also had problem with hyperextension in one knee, as well as pain. That is now almost entirely gone. nancy.estes@... Guest guest
According to this site the enzymes in Vitalzyme are indeed the same as those in digestive enzyme products. Protein digesting enzymes. Anyone with a peptic ulcer should probably be very cautious about taking this product on an empty stomach. sol P.S. I apologize for not trimming--for some reason I can't delete text in emails just now. Darn computers.
