Candida, glutathione depletion: Avoid whey, NAC?.

Thanks Rich and -- very interesting. In my not to humble

opinion, I believe candida or other fungal infections could be a

huge part of a lot of our problems, esp if one is on long term

abx's. Personally, I just cannot fathom taking 8-10 different

antibiotics for years -- I think that just guarantees fungal/candida

issues, which if they go systemic, can be deadly if one's immune

system is compromised.

My question is this: Do you think one should avoid whey or NAC,

etc., until candida issues are under control? I can't think of the

doctor's name right now, but there's a N.D. who says that even

antioxidants should be avoided while undergoing treatment for

systemic candida, as it interferes with apoptosis.
