Guest guest
By a quick lit search I see there may not be much to show borreliosis in Australia. Anyone know of actual positive evidence that borreliosis is rare or absent there? Anyone know if the rate of CFS/ME there compares to that of US and UK (I get the sense it does)? Anyone know non-traveling or little-traveling Australians testing positive or negative at IGeneX or Bowen?
Guest guest
Dear Borelliosis is reasonably common but very few ducs will or can diagnose it. It appears that the availability of useful discriminatory tests is poor. I was equivocal in 92 , negative in 2005 but symptoms have changed little. My experiences have included a number of major collapses/relapses after tick bites The following link may be of interest http://www.tickalert.org.au/ Regards Windsor [infections] lyme/CFS in Australia?
