Guest guest
AOM is Americaonthemove.org. You can register there. It comes up on here periodically how to do it. You can choose a virtual trail and record your exercise on there and cover the Old Oregon trail....Appalachian trail...etc. It is kind of fun. I really need to get back on and catch my self back up. Hey everyone! I did my 5 month weigh in this morning and as of today I am down 33 pounds and 37.25 inches! Wahoo! Jane
Guest guest
Thanks Elaine. I really do feel good. This is the first time I have been under 190 for about 10 years! It is a lot of work keeping up the eating pattern but it is finally starting to pay off. I looked at my three yr old grandson today and thought " Gee, I have lost a whole child! " lololol (he weighs 36 lbs) It is weird having a visual of what you have lost! Jane

Guest guest
What a novel idea. I fear that I would get all involved in all the wonderful things I am NOT eating and start obsessing to the point where before I knew it, I would have gone and eaten it. I hit the 40 pound mark today which is 25% of the total I need to lose. Sort of a milestone. Maybe it's all those good tomatoes and cucumbers :-) If one has to shed pounds, summer is definitely the time to do it. The hard part will be around the holidays. W QUESTION FOR JANE In one of your replies (I'm not used to this site yet) you mentioned an AOM what is this? and do we reply to messages individually or just post another one? I'll get used to it I'm sure. By the way I walked 20 miles this week and worked out at the gym 3 times. I also heard about an anti- journaling exercise where you write down the foods you CHOSE NOT to eat. It's very empowering to write down the things you resisted. Gave me a sense of " I have the choice to do this " !! Smiles to you all Suzanne
Guest guest
Funny, Jane, because I have been saying that I lost a bag of dog food. Says something about what we have been carrying around, I guess, besides our own extra pounds. W Re: QUESTION FOR JANE Thanks Elaine. I really do feel good.
