Damn if that isn't a quote to ponder! In our early search don't we all do a lot of shallow digging? How long it takes to realize submission to " one " means digging very deep, and if pursued with humble heart will lead to water. Toni quote discussed: I think the mystics of all the major faiths traditions meet at avery similar central point. is snip

Guest guest
Marvellous! Anyone who hasn't read Alice in her non-telegraphese style is definitely missing something. Thanks Deb. m
Guest guest
Deb, Thank you for this. I have three of Alice's wonderful books, but Web of the Sea is one that I do not have yet. Now I must purchase it! This is not the first time I have had a flash of brilliance only to discover that someone else had it and wrote about it years prior. I think it must be like the mental condition Jung describes at length in conjunction with Nietzsche (I can't remember the name just now), where we hear something years earlier, we internalize it, remember it, but then have a complete lapse of where it was first discovered - or even that it was planted there by someone else. Anyway, thanks for the wonderful pictures and properly crediting Alice for this idea of the hub of the wheel. I'm sure that over the past four years she has shared it with us here around the fire and I obviously found it to be wonderfully insightful. Thank you Deb, and especially, thank you dear Alice for planting these seeds in the mind and soul.
