Maybe that's why I've liked the way the coconut oil has been

effecting my gi tract. Perhaps it's helping the balance of flora in

my gut?

I also am beginning to think that the fluconazole may be part of the

reason I've been feeling so much better. Along with the zithromax.

But it took 6 weeks for it (or the combo) to kick in strong (which

is unusual for me - by six weeks I'm usually quitting something).

In the beginning, I didn't like the way the daily fluconazole made

me feel. It seemed especially hard on my gut. but I reduced the

dosage a bit and I've been taking 200 mg a day for 6 weeks and it's

no longer a problem.

I missed a couple of days because my insurance company balked at

filling the prescription. I started getting panicky. Fortunately I

found another bottle in my meds drawer. But the point is, I started

panicking that I didn't have it. THAT means my body's telling me

that it likes the Fluconazole, and my overall energy improvement

has coincided with using it. I think it may slowly be affecting my

sinuses, which may be affecting my overall energy levels.

I don't typically have any kind of serious problems with yeast

infections, so I don't think that's necessarily the level it's

working at. It's doing something else, or something in addition to

killing fungal organisms. Unless fungus is an invisible problem

that's exacerbating my other organisms. Hard to say, but I

definitely want to stick with it because I'm feeling good on it.

Along with the Zith. I throw in some other abx every so often, just

to try to prevent resistance to the zith.

Penny that sounds like a nice combo the fact that you throw in the

odd one is also smart. I would love to know how succesfull

fluconazole is, I tried that newer one and found it useless against

bacteria. I actually did the k antifungal once and it did nothing.

ketaconazole I think?

This lamisil sounds like a good idea

I like the anifungal group, it seems the abx pill form leave a lot

to be desired.
