translating a radiology report on an infant which starts:

**A l'anamnèse paternelle,** il y aurait eu une diagnostique anténatal

de XXXX et YY ............ et réalisation d'une échographie néonatale à

New York.

The father reported that the result of the ultrasound had been normal.

Does this phrase simply mean " According to the father " or " Due to the

medical history of the father " (i.e. a potential genetic/inherited

condition was being investigated?

I have clients use anamnése

all the time just to mean, the patient said,

when asked,
