Guest guest
I am here. I have been doing end of the summer hiking with my grand kids. I was wondering where everyone is myself. We have school starting next week. It is really hectic around here. Jane

Guest guest
I'm here... sorry I have been so quiet lately! I did the Master Cleanse [a kind of detox where you drink lemonaid made from lemons and real maple syrup and you do some things to cleanse the body while you are on it] and lost 18 lbs of water and bad gunk out of my body. My weight has stayed regular since then when I used to go up and down 5-8# almost every day. My hiking buddy, my dog, and I hiked Table Rock a couple of weeks ago the trail is real easy if you are in good shape. It was just the right amount of challenge for me! I think I am going to go back before snow starts since I know the trail now. Getting up there at nearly 5,000ft... the view of the seemingly endless mountain after mountain... fantastic! Anyway I am back on my fitness program and watching what I eat. I have noticed that it is much easier after my cleanse to eat right/better and keep things in porportion and I am not having any cravings for things that are bad for me and are not on my eating plan. On October 1st I am doing the Mayors Walk/10K in Portland... it runs in conjunction with the Portland Marathon. I am very excited! I feel very hopeful about my future and I am glad to be here so I can share it with everyone hugs Lindy

Guest guest
I have used that one, real lemon juice, real maple syrup, and cayene red pepper. It works very good. It gives all the essential nutrients and minerals for a fast so the body will not get tired on it. All my urges for caffine and nicotine stopped completely. Did you use the salt water part? Guest guest
, I am also curious about this too. I did a google on the Master Cleanse and found it very interesting. Did you get the book and follow that? Or something else? Did you have ups and downs? What worked the best? What did you have the most trouble with? Any tips you want to share? How did you feel during the process? Ok, thats all I can think of for now. I almost got the book this morning, but thought I would ask before I do. I am on a VERY limited budget, and if I can get by without getting the book, thats what I will do. Thanks. ~~ > > , > Where did you get your cleanse from?? > Is it a product you purchase or do you have the program where you can > share?? > > We are looking for a 1/2 marathon to walk here in Texas!! Guest guest
Hi Everyone I found out about the Master Cleanse through the curezone.com. I did it by the book called the Master Cleanser. One thing I did was read the reviews of the book at amazon.com because I figured they would be unsolicited. What it involved is drinking a lemonaid everyday and lots of water. The lemonaid is made from fresh squeezed lemons [i cheated and used bottled concentrate, which is breaking protocol, but I am poor and could not afford to go that route] and it is sweetened with real maple syrup, grade b. Then you add a pinch of cayanne pepper or as hot as you can stand to the lemonade just before you drink it. The night before you drink a cup of senna based laxative tea and in the morning I would drink a quart of water with a two teaspoons of sea salt in it. Then you drink it as fast as you can tolerate. Then the cleansing part comes.... be prepared to sit on the toilet! If you need to go somewhere, like a job, or if you really cannot tolerate the salt water flush, then you can do the tea in the morning too. It was hard because I was fasting. My fast was not one of the greatest and I think it was because I was a bit more toxic than some people and also I do not think I drank enough lemonaid for my body weight. That is something that obese people should take into consideration. there is a fantastic group called mastercleanse that is really supportive. The best part about the cleanse was the sleep. I do not know when I ever slept that good... that deep.... that restful. Some things suprised me and one was that I was COLD in August. It is so interesting to find out how much digestion of food heats the body! I was walking around in a sweatshirt, flannel and had a stocking cap on in nearly 80*! I ended up sleeping with a heating pad in my bed lol because I could not stay warm at night. I know that it is a hiking trick to keep a snack in your tent so that you can nibble in the night if you wake up cold, but I did not realize how much that would work! I am a week+ on the other side of the cleanse and I would do it again in a minute. I feel just GRAND and I am having no trouble staying away from bad foods, though I am not tempted. I have also let up on my food rules though and I am allowing myself to have triskets and clif bars lol so I do not feel so deprived from treats. One thing to take into consideration if you choose to do this. You are setting your body to slow down your metabolism. It IS a fast. You are giving your digestive system a chance to relax and not work as hard and that is something. If you read the reviews at amazon.com they speak for themselves. I only wish I could take the time off from farming again so that I could do it. Not until next summer.... maybe sometime this spring... I'll wait and see. Just my experiece!
