Guest guest
I've got to say that I agree with Evie on this. I've had four surgeries since 1995 to remove polyps and my ability to breath was better AFTER surgery than before. Yes the prednisone did help my regain - very briefly - my sense of smell but I absolutely HATE the side effects. of it. I am going out to Scripps next Friday to start their aspirin desens program in an effort to retard the growth of my polyps. I think that if I can keep the polyps under control then I'll be able to breath normally again. I am surprised your allergist is against surgery. My allergist was the one who referred me to my current ENT. And a prior ENT referred me to my current allergist. In my way of thinking, I need both. - >Message: 2 > Date: Fri, 27 Sep 2002 04:08:11 -0400 > From: " efourqurean " <efourqurean@...> >Subject: Re: Re: I'm new here > >I have to say as to the " why bother? Guest guest
Re: Threelac- There is a lot of stuff on the web about it, mostly versions of the company's promotional material, but informative none-the-less. Mine came with a sample of the Oxygen Elements which is recommended, but not required-- although some folks say it really makes a difference. I didn't use it myself. A can of 60 packets is about $50, as Dan said. That's the cheapest price I found. The " suggested " program is to work up to two or three packets a day for a couple months, then maintenance of 1 per day, and add in other probiotics. I find I can only tolerate a max of two a day, but one packet a day has gradually made a noticable difference, so you can stretch out your dollars a bit if you are willing to go slowly. The place I order from has one price advantage... the ship all re-orders for free, this saves an extra 4-6 bucks. It doesn't feel appropriate to put the source on the list here, but you can email me back-channel and I'll give the url.
