Thanks to everyone for all that you have shared!! My question is this...I have heard and read more and more about learning WHY we eat. In this last posting by AZ4Sandy, it was brought up again. " Icecream = Freezing Emotions " . I also keep hearing about learning how to stop sabatoging ourselves. Can someone please..in a very clear, direct manner...please tell me how it is you figured these things out!! How did you learn to stop the self sabotage? How did you learn that you were eating IceCream to freeze your emotions? I know I sabatoge myself all the time, I can see it after the fact..but not when I am doing it. I know I must be eating based upon my emotions, but how does one get to the bottom of it and make it stop?!?!?!??! I keep reading how these things are the keys to weight loss and I believe that to be true....but someone please explain to me HOW does one get to that point??? Trying so hard and still failing.
