Niacin and abx - does it help tissue penetration

I lost this group for a while -- so happy to find it again.

I'm a recovering Lymie, doing very well on abx treatment for Lyme

disease and coinfections. Currently taking bicillin, tindamax, and

Ketek, along with garlic, monolaurin, and some other supplements.

Fatigue is my biggest problem at this point (some of it is abx

induced, I know).

I've been taking Niacin (the flushing kind) in 100 mg doses 2-3 times

a day. It seems to help with my headache, fatigue and cognitive

function; I think I sleep better when I use it, too.

I've also been assuming that the flush effect (which is very mild for

me at those doses) will help distribute the abx throughout the body

and help improve tissue penetration. Does anyone know if this is

correct? I haven't been able to find out much specific info about

niacin and LD/Co and niacin and abx.
