Tasha-

That was the sweetest message!! Thank you for that! I too have found so much love from this group and I am very grateful for ALL of you! This is not easy, but being a first time mom going through this, I have found some additional challenges....this group always give me the support/advice/smarts to keep on keeping on. Thank you.

I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there. Boy is being a Mom one of the hardest jobs I have ever had. And at the same time one of most rewarding.I know over the past few years I would not have been able to make it without you guys. Each and every one of you have helped me in some way. I may never mentioned it, but every post has taught me something. I learn so much here. And it may not always be hard to stomach, but coming from another Mom that is going through what I am, seems to help and make it easy. The support and love this group(of mainly Moms)gives brings me to tears sometimes. I can truly come here and pour out my heart and know I will get just what I need to make me feel better. That is because another Mother is feeling what I am somewhere. Has been there, will be there and willing to help in anyway.I love you ladies and pray you have a

blessed day. Pamper yourself. Take a day off if you can. Do something FUN!I am planning my 3rd annual Pre-Mother's Day day off tomorrow. Breakfast, pedi and shopping!!! What else could a Mom want?!Anyway just wanted all you Moms to know I am so thankful and blessed to have you in my life. Maybe one day we will have that slumber party.God bless and have a GREAT Mother's Day!TashaMommy of 4 year old twin boys- and Fort Worth, Texas is currently in a brace at night.Casting 14 months.

Happy Mother's Day! I can't tell you how thankful I am for finding this group and each of you. I agree. This is definitely the most difficult job I have ever had. Rewarding yes, but extremely challenging. This group teaches me something new everyday, too. Not about casting, but about life in general. As you know, I have had a hard time accepting that my daughter is one of the children that has fallen through the cracks. Somehow I cant seem to separate acceptance, from giving up. Its hard to make the differentiation because I know that by not accepting the diagnosis and standard offered treatments (fusion, hardware at age 2) has saved my daughters life. I have been fighting to get the best treatments for Liv to ensure best quality of life for so long, that I am having a hard time giving up the fight. When I know that I must, for my own health. I try to look at this as a process, not a battle. But, that’s hard when her doc and I are still trying to figure out the best way to treat her scoliosis. It’s a never ending saga for children who have fallen through the

cracks…. This group (friends, experiences, challenges, etc…) has taught me that accepting Olivias reality is NOT giving up, its accepting that we will have continual challenges and that living in a constant battle is good for no one. Tasha, you are such an asset to CAST. Have a wonderful day, tomorrow and Sunday. You deserve it!
