Guest guest
Sue, have you tried asking your doctor for samples? If that doesn't work, find out the name of the manufacturer and see if you can locate a website. Many drug manufacturers will actually (believe it or not) provide their drugs for free to people with limited income with prescriptions from their doctors. Many companies actually mail the drug directly to you after you have applied for their plan and furnished them with proof of a prescription. It may not work, but it might be worth a try. Wishing you the best, [infections] Help- can't afford zithro, need alternative medication Hi.I was just given a precription for zithroMAX 250 and when I went to fill the Rx, it canme to $250!!!!!Oh-so-far-out of my budget it is simply not possible.Does anyone know of a less expensive alternative? Thanks,*S*
Guest guest
Depends on what bug you are trying to treat. Biaxin is close, although it gives some people (including me) a horrible metallic taste. There are other drugs that are the same " type " as zithromax. It just works great in terms of few side effects, stays in the system a long time, etc. Doris
Guest guest
i think someone recently reported that Biaxin can now be made as a generic. maybe that would also be a cheap alternative. thanks bill > Hi. > I was just given a precription for zithroMAX 250 and when I went to > fill the Rx, it canme to $250!!!!! > Oh-so-far-out of my budget it is simply not possible. > Does anyone know of a less expensive alternative? > Thanks, > *S*
