(IMDSA) I am so glad that you found us! A possibility concerning Bradley's congestion could be that he is allergic to dairy products. When my son was a baby, he had constant congestion that caused him to always be sick. A doctor finally suggested that he could be allergic to milk. When I took him off milk, all of his congestion dissapeared! Please check out our web sites for more information. Hi, I am Margaux, the proud Godmother of e, age 5, and Bradley, age 3, who is mds. Their mom does not have full access to email yet so I have joined on her behalf. One of her main concerns is Bradley's chronic congestion since birth, along with ear glue and respiratory troubles. She is very much against antibiotic treatment since it lowers his immune system and has been giving him natural, organic vegetables to enhance it and boost his immune system. The pediatrician and drs all seem to want to place him on antibiotics every time she sees them, and we have not been able to locate a Naturopath in our area (Atlanta) who specializes in children. She wanted me to ask if any of you have a similar situation and what if any alternative methods of treatment you have found to be successful? Thank you for any suggestions or recommendations you may have - she so wants to do the right thing but generally does not trust the Western medical system to treat her child's situation.
