Transplant contact for BCBS of Mass

Hi all,

Do any of you New England folks have a contact for a case manager at

BC/BS of Mass I don't believe we are in network with them, but we have a

patient who persists in trying to come here anyway.

-BC of MA doesn't have tx case mgrs anymore. The tx auth's are divided up based on the hospital-no idea who would handle your ctr, so you would just fax all your clinical & demographic info to Case Creation @ & they will get the ball rolling. It will be set up in their system & then funneled to the appropriate RN for review, etc.

Sherri- is gone. Sandy is covering temporarily while someone else is trained. Sandy's phone . I faxed a new kidney over mid-afternoon Monday & it was magically approved by 9am Tues morning w/o my having to make any phone calls or refaxing ( & refaxing, & refaxing, & refaxing...) Interesting, huh??? :-)
