Guest guest
Dear Eastern DayLightTime. Having one doesn't exclude the other. I have both and they appear to be attenuated strains that become chronic. I have many other CO-infections and virus activity. When one calms down the other rears it's ugly head and it can be most difficult in knowing which one is taking charge or the Alpha bacteria or virus of the moment. Prof. Carol et.al... Do you know anyone that's been tested for Relapsing Feverinstead of Lyme..Check this paper, it reads like a decetive novel..SO my question is... what if this wasn't dx correctly.. would these people go on to be chronic, and are the antibodies to tick borne relapsing fever cross reactive with b berdorferi.. OR are they specific???I guess I'm going to have to research this. I have wondered for a long time how one really knows whether they have relapsing fever, or Lyme.Everyone keeps saying the fevers are rom Babesia- but maybe they're not.I guess this is why borreliosis is a more proper name..http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/EID/vol9no9/03-0280.htm
Guest guest
Carol, Thats very interesting. How were you tested for relapsing fever borreliae? Do you have reason to believe you remained infected with them (as opposed to re-infection) despite abx treatment that would have been expected to eradicate them? These borreliae could be important to study, its one of my upcoming projects. Thanks for the paper Barb, I'm about 200 pp behind on high-priority reading but I just finished school and will catch up soon. EJFISCH@a... wrote: > Dear Eastern DayLightTime.
