Guest guest
My daughter is going to begin treatment for yeast. I think the doc is using Nizoral. I know yeast is a problem since she was born. What do we do if she starts treatment for Lyme? Are there then any more natural alternatives besides a good Probiotic or are prescriptions the only way to go once we have cleaned house? Guest guest
Since I saw my step daughters descent into yeast strains resistant from too much difulcan - I stayed with my enzymes (Candex) and Lauric acid (Lauricidin and coconut oil) on my post abx Candida problem. It took 8 months though to cure it...but I didn't produce any resistant strains this way. Step daughter was just up this weekend- and went home with some Candex and :auricidin- as now she has a mixed bacterial and yeast infection that the Docs are just not able to treat with anything that's working. She was just cultured - (Tony will be happy) which took GREa great amount of persuasion to get them to do that. Result aren't aren't back yet though. Take a loook at Ken's site CFSEXP as I just posyed some stuff on lauric and capric acid. Barb > My daughter is going to begin treatment for yeast. I think the doc is > using Nizoral. Guest guest
This message came at the perfect time for me as I am having such a problem with getting yeast under control that I have had to stop the antibiotic. The Dr. wasn't too happy with me. He told me the longest break I should take from the antibiotic is 3 days so they don't grow back. I have used Diflucan 200 every other day, creams, and nystatin two each day. No sugar, low carb diet. I seem to have the gut problem under control but the burning persists and is intense. Had a pap, not back yet. Dr. wrote me a script for an antibacterial gel. He said it is Flagyl. Will pick that up today. I have started back on amoxicillin one time a day and will increase to 2x, then back to add the Zith and Flagyl. I'm going on a trip for 3 weeks. If things haven't resolved by then I will be back at the gyno, insisting on a culture. I want to learn about your treatment. I am not sure how to get to Ken's site. Please refresh my memory.
