Guest guest
This allergy as inflammatory response is interesting. So many pwc have allergy problems. So many chronic sinus sufferers have " allergic rhinitis " . Until the last couple of months, I've never suffered from allergies, although as I've gotten sicker, I am much more sensitive to chemicals and odors. i.e. perfume usually smells like toxic detergent to me. :-) But when I came down with this last cold that turned all nasty, and I started the Zithromax, I also developed some kind of allergy. I was sneezing all the time, head felt thick, eyes weird, etc. Constantly clearing my throat. I've still got a little of that coming and going. At first, it almost felt like there was something lodged inside my sinus that was causing the sneezing etc. I thought perhaps a fungal ball or something. But I couldn't figure out if it was something like that, or an allergic response caused by the Zithromax, or something else environmental. For example, I realized that I've suddenly become sensitive to my dog's hair, and it's never been an issue before. Why? All I know for sure is it's a new experience. During this recent experience of the head cold/bronchitis/allergy, I also started to revisit some of the weird experiences I had many years ago, which included itching under the skin on the palms of my hands, armpits, mouth, etc (it actually got very nasty, with severe abdominal/uterine cramping that came with the itching). No doc could diagnose what was happening. Couldn't tell if it was a histimine response, or a hormonal one or what. Fortunately, I tried B vitamins because of their effects on the nerves (since the itching was internal, not external), and it totally relieved the problem.. I started the Bs again recently and the new itching disappeared as well, thank goodness. Whether these episodes and the head allergy are connected or not, I don't know. Could adding the B's be partially responsible for the subsiding of the head allergy I've had the last 6 weeks? It's so hard to know what's happening! penny > >>Tony, > >>Please explaine what you mean with 'histamine inflammatory system' > > work when going thrue the roof > >>/Per > >> > > > -- > Per Sjöholm > Stockholm, Sweden
Guest guest
Per I read up on IRS 3 to 4 years ago so I wouldn't know where one starts. I do remember that it explains the inflammatory cascade and the bradikinnin and heart interactions. I just touched on it vaguely because my mission was to find a test to say he ha it's all in the blood not in the head. tony -- In infections , Per Sjoholm <pts2grps@e...> wrote: > Thanks Tony, > The reason i ask is that I have been eating anti-histamin for a almost my whole life. > And histamin seams to be important here.
