Guest guest
thanks a First of all I became a cyclist two years ago and this cut back on the daily walking...plus a slothful winter which was kind of a first for me due to the hip discomfort..this March I did a takeoff and then a three point landing on icy pavement which just made it worse...though I seem to be falling a lot the last several years...then came DMSO treatments starting in April and I am continuing that..very unpleasant long lasting taste in my mouth...hmmm is that an ok sign...the numbness and tingling I could do without..and yes numbness was there before but just once or twice on a tiled concrete floor several years ago...please explain "sacro wedgy" it sounds intriguing.. Norm numbness in frontal thigh, was Re: Problems with DMSO Usage. Try a Sacro-Wedgy. Best thing I've ever found for relieving pressure on the nerves that cause a similar symptom in me. They have a web site, you can find it with a google search.I have a bone spur that presses on that nerve. Do you think the easing of the pain simply allowed you to notice this numbness more or is it truly new?paulaNorman Cameron wrote:> hi Garnet> I have been using topical DMSO for left leg and hip connection joint > for a short time..> .pain has pretty much gone but has been replaced with a creeping > frontal thigh numbness that goes away as soon as I sit...> could this be a sign of improvement?...I realize my age of 63 and too > much weight and a joy of long walks might have done me in but other > than this hip problem I have been quite lucky...> Norm

Guest guest
Look it up, the website explains it better than I can. But basically it is a thing the bottom of your spine fits into and you lay on it, with a neckroll under your neck. It lets the entire hip region of the spine " fall open " relieving pressure on the sciatic nerves. I used mine a lot several years ago when I first got it, but now only need it a few times a year. It has really helped me. That nerve down the side front of my thigh started with numbness, then progressed to terrible burning pain, had that for several years before trying the Sacro-Sedgy. paula Norman Cameron wrote: > thanks a > First of all I became a cyclist two years ago and this cut back on > the daily walking...plus a slothful winter which was kind of a first > for me due to the hip discomfort..this March I did a takeoff and then > a three point landing on icy pavement which just made it > worse...though I seem to be falling a lot the last several > years...then came DMSO treatments starting in April and I am > continuing that..very unpleasant long lasting taste in my mouth...hmmm > is that an ok sign...the numbness and tingling I could do without..and > yes numbness was there before but just once or twice on a tiled > concrete floor several years ago...please explain " sacro wedgy " it > sounds intriguing.. > Norm
