Many of you may already know this. I had heard that Congress had extended the

coverage for immunosuppression medications for Medicare patients from 36 to 44

months. A press release from HCFA indicates that the coverage will be

indefinite and applies to all Medicare aged and Medicare disabled transplant

recipients (see attachment). The implementation date is April 1, 2001.
