Guest guest
I tapped a deep vein of relief today, folks! Woohoo! The secret for today (these things are notoriously difficult to reproduce): 1) combine oral MS Contin and 2x Gabitril dose on rising 2) add 5mg liquid morphine at 2 hours 3) drink several cups of warm liquid (I cheated and had a bit of coffee, then tea) 4) eat 3 poached eggs and two peaces of toast I feel so much better than I did 4 hours ago, you can hardly believe it. Lumbar and knee pain down at least 30%, neuropathy down more like 50%. Whee! I rarely touch the liquid morphine. It was only prescribed for one month, by a doctor who I hoped would replace my last nutso-sadist of a PCP. She decided I was too difficult a case, so I have horded the liquid morphine, knowing I had no way to replace it. Actually, to be honest I forget that it is there. Bicillin injections are still a big question mark. I've never replicated the relief I got from the first shot, which makes me think a mechanism other that bug-killing was at work there. Now, the shots seem to trigger a cycle - very bad the next day, still worse than baseline the following, a few hours when I may be above baseline and WHAP! time for more. I think my immune system is not quite as bad as you might assume, but my body's ability to clear toxins is badly impaired. The Shoemaker drugs sit unused on my shelf, because they challenge the liver and mine is very tempermental and shows it on blood tests. So we need a toxin cleansing strategem that is easy on the liver. Calgon, take me away! Er, Glutathione, take me away! Er, magnesium, take me away! Someone, get this endotoxin the hell away from me, please! Oh well, the thing is I feel a little better. May last a few hours. Or not. Either way, I am grateful. His Divine BlabFest, Da Pope, sends blessings on you all. Scha
