Guest guest
Hi everyone,We finally had our appt today for 's new brace. I was on the road leaving for the 11:00 appt and my cell phone rings and I knew the number. Sure enough it was the hospital wanting to change the time. I was SO mad, but knew there was nothing I could do about it so we turned around, went home and waited about 3 hours to go to the 2:00 appt. Thank God I was not that far from home.I was all prepared for his orthotist to do a mold for the new brace, but he did not. This time he took a ton of measurements and will make the brace from that.My question is how many of your children are in a brace where measurements are taken and not a mold done. It seems I have read about it, but was not sure.I know I don't even have the new brace and I am already trying to analyze it. Can't help....it is my nature.....LOLI am just curious how well they can get it to fit the body. I know 's orthotist has done adjustments to his current brace so I am sure he can fit it to 's body.Just curious???TashaMommy of 4 year old twin boys- and Fort Worth, Texas is currently in a brace at night.Casting 14 months.
