Guest guest
We get the lauricidin as 300mg capsules from Ecological Formulas in Concord, CA. Guest guest
How well does your child tolerate fresh coconut or coconut milk? There is a website devoted to unrefined coconut oil, which may help seeing Lauricidin from it's origins point of view. I found the Lauricidin website helpful. mjh In a message dated 8/19/02 5:48:07 AM Eastern Daylight Time, rmwilson@... writes: > Not wanting tto butt in on anyone's success with a product but given this is > a food product, > have you considered the allergic immune response that might occur with this > and any other food supplement? > Would obviously depend on the child but I'd imagine Dr G would recommend at > minimum exercising caution. > >

Guest guest
Not wanting tto butt in on anyone's success with a product but given this is a food product, have you considered the allergic immune response that might occur with this and any other food supplement? Would obviously depend on the child but I'd imagine Dr G would recommend at minimum exercising caution. My computer kept sending them when I tried to reply. Anyway, we always consider the allergy stuff in everything we give our son since he's had a history of multiple food allergies including alot of the fillers they use in drugs and sups. Everyone with a sensative kid should watch closely for this because sometimes a worsening can be due to a tiny amount of filler in something they're taking. I recall my son massively regressing for almost three weeks once from just one dropper of a vitamin that was sweetened with orange juice. Fortunately, as he's become healthier, he's not been as allergic as he once was but we still monitor it closely. The main ingredient in Lauricidin is coconut. I'm sure you can get a list of other ingredients from the manufacturer if this is a product that would benefit your child. Not trying to push the product or even recommend it, just mentioned that we're using it until we can get in to see a doc knowledgeable about viral stuff. His positive response to it makes me think he'll really benefit from Dr. G's protocol. Gaylen

Guest guest
Barb, go and take a look at www.ccid.org it's Dr. 's website, I think he's the one who originally discovered stealth viruses ( I could be wrong, oh well). He has lectured with Dr.G in the past. It's a good site. Guest guest
Gaylen, I just ordered Lauricidin. You said your child has had positive results using this product. Can you be more specific about the differences in your child since you started using this product? If anyone else has used Lauricidin with their child, could you tell me about any positive results you have seen? I have not seen Dr. Goldberg yet and want to get my son on something that will help him.
Guest guest
, Before you use Lauricidin or any other product for that matter, I would urge you to ask Dr.G's opinion in the " ask Dr.G section " under conferences on the neuroimmunedr website. Before we started on the protocol, we were giving our son a few different things that had all come highly recommended by other parents. It turned out one of them (I don't remember what) actually strenghtened the virus. I know we all want to help our children get well yesterday and Lord knows I've got a medicine cabinet with enough supplements that if I could cash them in would have paid for the trip to LA, but please be patient and check it out with Dr.G first. Sincerely, Re: Re: Lauricidin > Gaylen, > I just ordered Lauricidin. You said your child has had positive > results > using this product. Guest guest
<PRE>Just a reminder to everyone. Supplements are not a part of the protocol. It may be that there are some supplements that would indeed be helpful but until they are tested and proven safe for a child with they are not allowed. There are many things that stimulate the immune system that cannot be avoided. Supplements, certain foods, and allergens can be avoided. Guest guest
<PRE>'s suggestion is excellent. Many supplements do more harm than good. Again they are not part of the protocol. Kathy -NNY
Guest guest
Barb, I remember you saying that you took supplements when you weren't taking antibiotics. So did you take the Lauricidin with antibiotics or apart from them? - Kate
