Cranberry juice is great for UTI. The CS will reach your urine in 1-2

hours, drink it every two hours or more often, in small amounts or if

you have them large amounts. I make it myself so would sip on it

constantly if it were me.

I also would mix in some DMSO and take it orally. 1-2 teaspoons per day

is the recommended amount. Beyond that there is no research to know. But

the toxic dose is like 40,000 times this, as measured in lab rats. There

are no reported toxicities in humans.

Vit C is also good. Anything that makes your urine more acid will kill

the bacteria. Stop all sugar and starchy foods if you have not already.

Drink enough water that you are urinating frequently, at least once an

hour.

You may find many suggestions but these are the basics that I would do

personally.

Garnet -- I do not argue at all with your RX here, but one of the most pleasant

things about CS is that it doesn't taste bad. A slight metallic taste at worse

but I find it difficult to use DMSO regularly because it does taste so bad. I

guess there's no help for it. It does help the CS into my nose and throat.

I can soak my finger in cs for 10 minutes and can put a soaked cotton wad on a

wound in a less accessable spot for 10 minutes to let the CS do it's work. I

can't keep the CS in my sinus cavities or in my throat for 10 minutes so the

DMSO helps it to do the work there without having to soak for so long. But I

really hate to use it because it tastes just awful. Margaret Park
