My son Caden just had the Barium test for acid reflux a few weeks ago. He did

not have a problem drinking the barium--he is 6 months old. I have never heard

of it causing cancer. Are you hearing the barium will cause the cancer or the

xray itself? For xrays to cause cancer you would have to have numerous xrays in

your life for this to happen.

Has any parent in this group has taken Barium Test for

their children , if yes kindly let me know the

disadvantage of this test. Does it lead to cancer at

the later stages.
