Nearly Passing Out

This morning, during my deadlifting workout, I was doing light, sumo

style lifts, 6 sets of 6 with only 225 lbs, , after each set, I would

experience the feeling of nearly passing out about 10 to 15 seconds after

setting down the weight.

I've experienced similar episodes, going to the Doc who put me through an

electro cardio gram and a stress test which I passed with flying colors. My

blood pressure is always great. The nurse tells me, I've got the pressure of

a teenager at age 45.

I am tired today with not a lot of sleep. I suspect this has something to

do with blood sugar or caffeine. I had been one point below the mark of

being pre diabetic last year. My Mother takes pills for diabetes and I have

a half Sister who experiences episodes of low blood sugar.

I didn't drink any more coffee this morning than normal but, got up

feeling punky. I was out last evening and did drink two cups of coffee,

perhaps interupting my sleep. I ate two slices of wheat bread, toasted with

natural peanut butter and a large pile of jelly on each slice. I ate this

just before 5:00 A.M, and was in the gym by 7:00 A.M.

Would it be fair to assume, I spiked my blood sugar and then experienced

a low? The episodes were bad enough to warrant me to hold onto the power

rack so I wouldn't fall down. They lasted about 5-10 seconds.Walking home

was no issue. My pulse did not seem excessively rapid.

I am riding my stationary bike most days for 40 minutes after coming

home. I've sometimes felt this woozy feeling during my shower after a ride.

Can caffeine do this? These kind of events are not consistently

happening. Some days, I feel like a million dollars.

I know, a pile of questions. I seek the thoughts of others.
