Guest guest
I doubt it too. When Europeans colonised other continents and took their typical infections with them, many of the native occupants were wiped out by them, this would be similar scenario. I spent half my childhood years living in hotter countries with poor santisation, there were problems with food and water, and insect borne infections, brucella were common. we had the nasty pesticides used abundanly. The local food stuff was grown in untreated human excrement. Like other non patriots I suffered form a mulitude of infections, the indigenous population did not and only suffered from then occassionlly. Throw in the dodgy zaccines they used then and with what we know now and it so wonder during my second time abroad thigs started ot go more worng. I was not under emotional stress, other than the heat and these factors, the second was propably the happiest time of my life. Ken will not be surprised to learn thats when ISAC bemame first became obvious, of course I knew noting it about everyone eho knew me was foxed by it. Mine was by no means a one off case, other old school chums who lived there too were sick then and now as well, as are some of their parents. Guest guest
I came from a very poor family. We didn't have an indoor bathroom so the children took turns bathing in a large was wash tub. The first one to get in the tub was lucky. LOL.It was inconvenient so needless to say we did not get a daily bath. Later we got an indoor bathroom and by the time I was a teen I was enjoying daily baths. My father used to tell me I bathed too much and I would ruin my immune system, my body wouldn't be used to germs and wouldn't be able to fight them. Maybe he knew what he was talking about. We really have become a very clean culture. Marie --- tansyap <tansyap@...> wrote: > > I doubt it too.
