Guest guest
It might still be beneficial for demonstrating a probable transfusion infection case - tho maybe its applicability to the general population would be discounted due to your asplenia. At immunesupport numerous people report that the screening questionnaire is supposed to stop people from donating blood if they have a CFS or FMS dx - but numerous other people report that they donated regularly in recent years because CFS/FMS were not on the questionnaire in their locale. Well, they need to be. I guess probably no one with power over this stuff is interested in the connection between CFS and borrelia anyway. I wonder if the AACFS (not sure thats the right name) does anything to educate people against donating. If not, they should. Guest guest
My transfusion was in 1975 before it was even known to screen it for what's been checked for now - Blood was collected and mixed from everywhere. I would guess, from what I know know that this route is probably the cause of alot of problems that go mis-diagnosed. I may run the tests in parallel this fall- depends on how complicated it gets.
